Bey Sentenced For Role In Robbery

An Akron man will be spending the next four years in prison for his role in a robbery outside a store on the city's west side.

 31-year-old Aswad Bey pleaded guilty today to Aggravated Robbery and was sentenced to four years in prison by visiting Judge Robert Brown.

Prosecutors say Bey and a co-defendant robbed a man at gunpoint while he sat in his car outside the Open Pantry store on Copley Road in Akron.
