Jackson High School's freshman basketball coach has resigned amid allegations of placing video cameras in the boys locker room.
A news release from the Jackson Township police department says detectives and U.S. Postal Inspectors searched the home of 46-year old Scott Studer early Wednesday morning.
While at Studer's Pin Oak Drive NW home, authorities recovered evidence related to the crime.
Investigators say Studer had video recording devices in the locker room, focusing the cameras on the shower area.
Studer served as both a building aide and the head freshman basketball coach for the Jackson Local Schools. He resigned from both positions effective Wednesday.
He was arrested and charged with eight counts of Illegal Use of a Minor in Nudity-Oriented Material.
Studer was booked into the Stark County Jail.
