It was a scary few moments at a Ravenna school on Monday, as the building was put on lockdown when two men tried to enter the building.
Police released information about the incident at the Willyard School, where two adult men got into a fight, and tried to find a way into the facility. The school initiated it's standard lockdown procedures, and the two suspects were apprehended in front of the school.
Officials are still working the case, including the reason why they tried to enter the building. No one was hurt, and police are still working on charges against the suspects.

(press release, November 5th, 2012) At 1PM today Ravenna Police Department officers responded to the Willyard School on Summit Rd. in Ravenna. Two adult males were reportedly involved in an altercation on school property and were attempting to gain entry into the school. School personnel activated safety procedures preventing the two adult males from gaining entry into the school.
When police arrived the two males were located in front of the school and detained. An investigation is in progress to determine all of the details surrounding this incident with possible criminal charges to follow. The names of the two adult males will be released later.
School personnel completed the safety procedures with efficiency and timeliness. The school building was also in a prepared state of safety as all access to the building was locked per policy with the exception of the main front entrance, which is monitored by the school office. School personnel are to be commended for their quick and decisive actions.
