Obama To Akron; Biden, Romney Nearby Featured

Northeast Ohioans will have another chance to see both presidential candidates and the vice president at least one more time during the last full week of campaigning before the election:

President Obama will attend a rally at the James A. Rhodes (JAR) arena at The University of Akron on Wednesday, October 31.  The exact time of the rally has not been announced, but doors open at 12:30 P.M.  Free tickets will be available Monday morning at 8:00 at The Summit County Democratic Headquarters on Grant Street, the Laborers Union Hall on Wolf Ledges Parkway and at the JAR.  UA will announce details regarding parking early in the week.

Vice President Joe Biden will stump in Wooster on Tuesday, October 30.  Doors open at 12:45 P.M. for a rally in the Timken Gymnasium at the College of Wooster. Ticket distribution began this afternoon.  Tickets are available (while supplies last) at the Lowry Student Center on campus or at the Obama for America office on Bever Street in Wooster.  Parking will be available at the student center parking lot at University Street and Beall Avenue. 

Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney will appear at Avon Lake High School Monday, October 29 at 11:15 A.M.  Doors open at 9:15 A.M.  You can reserve a ticket HERE or pick one up in person at the campaign's Avon Lake Victory Center on Lear Road.

In addition to his work as a broadcast journalist Chris has also worked in public relations and as an instructor at the University of Akron teaching Broadcast News Writing. Chris enjoys volunteer work, and has served on the boards of the Ohio Associated Press Broadcasters, Public Relations Society of America (Akron Area Chapter), American Cancer Society Hope Gala Committee and currently serves on the Green Baseball/Softball Federation Board.
