It was not a good lunch for an Akron mail carrier, as he was attacked at a Copley restaurant.

Akron Police say the incident happened at the Church's Chicken on Copley Road Friday afternoon. An employee who witnessed the event says 44-year-old Clifford Campbell, who claims he is homeless, was arguing with an employee over a food order, then took the mail carrier's order.

The carrier was attacked from behind as he left the restaurant, and hit his head on the pavement.

Police Lieutenant Rick Edwards says the argument was between Campbell and the employees, and there appears to have been no interaction between Campbell and the victim before the attack.

Campbell was arrested near the corner of Copley and South Hawkins Avenue, and the postal worker was taken to the hospital.
