A search from the ground and from the air resulted in a missing young Stark County boy being found safe.

3 year-old Braylen Tomblin of Brinker Street in Pike Township went missing at about 1:30 on Saturday afternoon, after he ran into the woods near his yard chasing after the family dog.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol's Canton post sent not only several road units, but used a fixed wing aircraft to search for the missing boy.

About an hour after starting the search, Braylen was spotted by the Highway Patrol pilot from the air, in a field about a mile from his home.

He was rescued and safely returned to his family.
