AUDIO Copley Man Dies In House Fire

The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office, the Copley Police and Fire Departments and the State Fire Marshall are investigating the death of an unidentified man in a house fire.in the 1500 block of Earhart Avenue . Upon arrival fire fighter's discovered an active fire. The victim was later discovered inside. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 2:30pm.

No identity has been released at this time pending notification of relatives.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

Copley Township Fire Chief Michael Benson by Larry States

Benson says three firefighters were treated for minor injuries at the hospital, after two of them fell through a floor while battling the blaze.

Benson says the scene of the fire is being treated as a crime scene because of the death.
