A string of street robberies keeping Akron Police busy over the past few weeks included another robbery-shooting late Saturday night. Around 10pm , a 24 year old man walking in the 800 block of Carlysle Street was shot during a robbery. The victim reported he was approached by two suspects in all dark clothing. The suspects demanded the victim’s money. When the victim stated he didn’t have any money, one suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the left arm before fleeing southbound on foot.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where his injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Akron Police Department.
