Football fans who haven't been able to watch the NFL Network on the area's Time Warner Cable systems are getting the network now.
The NFL and the largest area cable company announced a new, multi-year deal adding NFL Network and its NFL RedZone channel to Time Warner systems nationwide.
Area Time Warner subscribers are already seeing the network on channels 346 (NFL Network) and 347 (RedZone), and HD channels 1346 (NFL Network) and 1347 (RedZone).
The announcement of the deal says the 24/7 NFL Network channel will be available to Time Warner's Digital Basic subscribers, and that NFL RedZone will be in the cable company's extra-cost Sports Pass tier.
NFL RedZone features live coverage of scoring and other important plays for all Sunday afternoon NFL games.
The deal was cut in time to bring the NFL Network to Time Warner subscribers for Thursday's game with the Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Ravens.
The NFL Network coverage of that game will also be seen locally on WKYC Channel 3.
