Wadsworth school officials are ready to show off new facilities, including a new high school and three elementary buildings.
A ribbon-cutting was held Monday at the high school, which will also be the site of a community health and wellness center and senior center. Those components will not be open until November, but are important to the school district and the city.
"We know that as a school district that we are an integral part of this community, but we also work with all the entities and all the different agencies to try to serve the people because that's our job," said Superintendent Dale Fortner.
Fortner says the three elementary schools are nearly identical.
"About the only thing that's different is how they are positioned on the site," said Fortner.
Ribbons will be cut at all three new elementary schools on Friday evening.
