Fire Damages Akron Home

Akron fire investigators are seeking the cause of a house fire shortly after 9 Monday morning in the 800 block of Yale Street.

Thick black smoke was pouring from a back bedroom of the house when firefighters arrived. No one was home at the time and there were no injuries. Akron fire investigators say the blaze damaged the bedroom and the rear of the house with a loss of $11,000.
