A Canton man was seriously injured following a collision between his motorcycle and a car in Massillon Monday afternoon.

Troopers with the Canton Post of the State Highway Patrol say a woman driving a car failed to yield from a stop sign and was struck by a motorcycle near the intersection of Cherry Road NE and 6th Street NE around 3 p.m.

The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike. He was taken to Aultman Hospital with serious injuries. Troopers say he was not wearing a helmet.
