Police are looking for several suspects after three separate robberies happened over the weekend.
Akron police say the first robbery happened early Saturday morning around 1:30 when two teenagers were leaving a house party in the 400 block of Allyn Street. Police say several men punched the victims in the face and took off with a pair of Nike shoes. One victim lost a tooth and the other victim suffered a minor laceration to his lip.
Around the same time early Sunday morning, a 50-year-old man was knocked to the ground when two men attempted to rob him near the intersection of Frances Avenue and North Main Street. The victim suffered a broken nose and was taken to St. Thomas Hospital. Police say nothing was taken from the victim.
Late Monday night, police say two armed men robbed a Papa John's Pizza delivery driver while the driver was delivering food in the 600 block of Morningview Avenue. Police say the suspects were wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and bandanas covering their faces.
Police are still searching for the suspects involved in the weekend robberies. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Akron Police Department.
