A North Canton man spent part of the holiday weekend in the Stark County Jail for causing a three-vehicle wreck.
Police in North Canton say James Henning, 32, was spotted Sunday evening driving recklessly in the parking lot of Kmart on North Main Street before pulling out an striking a truck. The impact of the crash sent the truck slamming into another vehicle. Police say Henning was drunk and charged him accordingly.
One of the drivers was taken to Mercy Medical Center with apparently minor injuries. Henning was also taken to the hospital before police threw him in jail. He has since been released.
Witnesses also told police they saw a man jump out of Henning's Mustang and run. He's still on the loose.
