It didn't take Akron Police long to find the suspects from a Saturday street robbery.

Around 2:30am Saturday morning, a 19 year old man, walking near the intersection of Power and Sumner Streets, was robbed. The victim reported he was approached by two suspects asking if he wanted to buy grass. When the victim said no, one suspect pulled the victim by his shirt while the second suspect took money from his pockets. The suspects fled on foot with $36 in cash.

Officers from the University of Akron stopped the suspects on Kathryn Place. Officers arrested Tyrill D. Vaughn, 17, of Manchester Road and John E. Little, 16, of Chittenden Street. They were charged with robbery and placed in the custody of the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center.

Officers recovered the victim’s money.
