Akron Police Seek Suspect In Sunday Shooting

Akron police are searching for a gunman after a man was shot multiple times late Sunday night.

Just before 11p.m., police and paramedics were called to the Pine Pointe Apartments on Carpenter Street on reports of a man being shot.

Paramedics found the 23-year old victim and rushed him to Akron General Medical Center with gunshot wounds to his stomach and hand. He's listed in serious condition.

Police have not identified the victim

There are no suspects at this time.
