School districts asking for money in the Akron/Canton area mostly came away empty handed, except for one district that finally got a levy passed

Voters in Summit County turned back operating levy requests in the Barberton and Woodridge districts, and an school improvement levy in the Coventry district.

Stark County voters soundly rejected levy requests for the Louisville and Osnaberg districts. The Osnaberg levy saw over 85 percent of voters who showed up voting against the levy.

But it's the sweet smell of success for Medina County's Buckeye district.

Buckeye voters haven't approved an operating levy in 12 tries over 18 years. But Medina County voters going to the polls for this special election approved the levy by a 63 to 37 percent margin.

In other issues, Richfield Township saw split results. A Fire/EMS levy passed, while a roads levy failed.

Brimfield Township saw approval of its police levy.

All results are final, unofficial returns.
