A wandering two-year old spotting along SR 44 in Louisville led police to his sleeping father Sunday evening.

News Channel 5 reports police were called to SR 44 after a motorist saw the boy walking along the road around 5:30 p.m.

Once found, the boy led the cops back to his apartment where they located the sleeping dad.

He was woken by the officers and told them he had smoked marijuana, according to investigators.

Daniel Phillips was arrested and charged with child endangering, drug possession, and drug paraphernalia.

Phillips was released on bond and will be arraigned in Canton Municipal Court Tuesday morning at 9 a.m.

The boy is in the custody of his grandmother. He was found unharmed.
