The Portage County Sheriff's Office has issued arrest warrants for a man and woman in connection with a robbery July 27th in the early morning hours at a home on Cook Road in Rootstown Township. Detectives are seeking 24-year old Jonathon Kornet of Ravenna and 18-year old Sara Knight, also of Ravenna.
Sheriff's detectives say a 20-year old man had gone to the home to meet with Knight, an acquaintance . When he arrived he was confronted by three suspects, one armed with a handgun. While held at gunpoint, the victim was robbed of his wallet and cell phone. The victim was able escape the residence without harm.
The third suspect has yet to be identified. He's described as white, in his early 20’s.
Sara Knight has a large tattoo of her name on the right side of her neck.
