An Akron man has been found guilty in the sexual assault of an eight year old girl.
40-year old Brolin Payne was found guilty of rape and gross sexual imposition in court Wednesday according to prosecutors.
Authorities said Payne repeatedly raped and sexually assaulted the girl over the course of six months between 2001 and 2002.
Payne will be sentenced on September 5 by visiting judge Dick Reinbold.
He is facing life in prison.
