Weekend Homicide Suspect Arrested

Akron police have arrested a 21-year-old man for the weekend shooting death of an Akron man.

Police have charged Corey Michael Hardison, who they say is homeless, with murder and felonious assault in the death of 35-year-old Karma Tamang.

Tamang was found with a gunshot wound to the head inside a parked car in a parking lot on Blaine Avenue, the same road where he lived.

Tamang was taken to Akron City Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Hardison is currently being held in the Summit County Jail on unrelated charges.
