Akron Police are on the lookout for an older man in a red car after children in three separate incidents reported they were approached by the man who tried to solicit their help in looking for a dog.

The incidents occurred over the past two weeks near Noah and Delia Avenues, Schneider Park, and  Dorchester and Afton streets.

In each case the children who were approached ran away from the scene.

In the third incident the suspect asked a girl for her name and age, and then drove away.

If you see the car and suspect, you're asked to call Akron Police.
