Coventry Father Charged With Child Endangering

A 27-year old Coventry Township man is under arrest and facing charges after allegedly pouring scalding water on  an 18 month old child.  

On July 6th,  Coventry EMS responded to a home for reported burns to the toddler. The child was transported to Akron Children’s Hospital.

Sheriff’s Office Detectives, determined that the injuries were caused by water poured on the child allegedly by Dusty Gauder.

Gauder, was charged with Felonious Assault and Endangering Children. He was arrested and transported to the Summit County Jail by Deputies.
