Strong storms made their way through East Akron last night, knocking down trees and power lines.

A large tree fell on a truck parked on Simcoe Avenue in Goodyear Heights and several tree limbs were found on the ground in the surrounding area.

Ohio Edison crews were on scene repairing several down power lines around 5 a.m.
