UPDATE: 7:41 a.m.
Fire crews and National Park Service rangers rescued five people who were stranded on a cliff at Brandywine Falls in Sagamore Hills Sunday afternoon.
Cuyahoga Valley National Park officials say the visitors were hiking along Brandywine Creek below the falls and attempted to climb the rocks to the top around 3 o'clock.
Two children were able to climb to the top safely on their own before rescue crews arrived.
Shortly after, three other children and two adults were pulled to safety.
Park officials reminds visitors that rock climbing is prohibited in the park.
No injuries were reported.

The Sagamore Hills Fire Department tells AkronNewsNow that there have been five people total on the cliff, two adults and three children, and the group was not in the water.
NewsChannel 5 reports that the rescue is over, and all five on the cliff have been safely rescued.
The fire department says that three children have been safely rescued, with the two adults expected to be rescued soon.
