Akron fire officials said the cause of the fire that tore through a community center at the Timber Top Apartment Complex in May is 'undetermined.'

Investigators were unable to find significant evidence pointing to the cause of the flames, according to Captain Al Bragg.

"We were unable to identify anything in particular as a cause so we left this fire as 'undetermined'," said Bragg.

Bragg said fire investigators spent nearly a month on the case collecting, sending and waiting for samples to come back from the labs but nothing turned up.

The blaze destroyed the building at the Timber Top Apartment complex valued at $800,000.
