Akron Police Capture Murder Suspect

Akron Police have captured a murder suspect.

Anthony Board Jr. was arrested by police with help from the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force. He was found hiding in the basement under a bed in a home on Nome Avenue early Thursday evening.

Officers also recovered several guns and body armor fro the home.

Board was wanted for the shooting death of 22-year old David Clark of Cole Avenue in Akron. Clark was shot in the back late on the evening of June 7th, and later died at the hospital.

Larry also served as news director of the former WAKR TV 23 in Akron. Larry was inducted into the Broadcasters Hall of Fame in Akron in 2004.
