Police in Cuyahoga Falls want to know who has been knocking over grave markers at Oakwood Cemetery.

Captain Jack Davis says more than a dozen grave markers and statues have been toppled or otherwise damaged over the last month.  Cops are spending time in the cemetery when they can but the size of Oakwood Cemetery makes it difficult.

"There are a couple of different entrances and the fences aren't that tall for people climb over," said Davis.  "It's hard even to get lucky enough to patrol it and catch kids in the act.

Davis says he believes the vandals are younger people, probably teens. He says they often do things for "fun" in groups, so it may be a matter of time before one of them starts to brag or starts to feel guilty.

Davis is asking anyone who sees anything suspicious at Oakwood Cemetery to report it.  He says nobody is supposed to be in the cemetery outside of normal hours.
