Meth Lab Found At Streetsboro Campground

 A Streetsboro man is now in custody after agents from the Portage County Drug Task Force followed up on a complaint for a meth lab at a campgound earlier this week.

The task force was called to the Streetsboro KOA Campground on 187 S. R. 303 where they and the Streetsboro Police Department found  components used to make  meth outside of an occupied camping trailer.

Agents also found components and chemicals in two back packs on the trail behind the camper, and an additional lab in the wooded area off one of the trails.

32 -year old Ronnie Calton is now being charged with one count of illegal possession of chemicals in the manufacturing of drugs.

The Portage Drug Task Force will present the case to the Portage County Grand Jury for additional charges.

Calton is currently being held in the Portage County Jail.
