Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Norton

A 33-year-old woman walking across State Route 21 in Norton was struck by a vehicle and killed late Wednesday night.

The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office reports Laura Rollins of Doylestown was struck near Eastern Road by a Jeep Grand Cherokee around 11 p.m.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Norton Police Department and the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office are investigating the incident. 

An autopsy is scheduled for today. No further information has been released.
