An Akron man has been convicted of murdering his estranged wife and hiding her body in a church septic tank in southeast Ohio.
Summer Inman, 25, was apparently kidnapped in Logan, OH and strangled with a zip tie. William Inman II, 27, was found guilty of aggravated murder, murder, kidnapping, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
It took a jury in Hocking County about four hours over a two-day period to return the verdict. The panel isn't finished yet. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty, so both sides will have to make their cases as to whether Inman should be executed. The jury will then weigh that testimony and make a recommendation to the court.
Inman's parents are also under indictment for their alleged role. They are being tried separately later this year.
