AKRON, Ohio – After the way her girls hit on Tuesday night, Wadsworth softball coach Michelle Deangelis might want to forego uniform numbers permanently. Junior Nikki Weaver laced two line-drive singles and sophomore catcher Sam Ryan had two hits and two RBI in helping the Suburban All-Stars defeat the Metro All-Stars 10-4 at Firestone Stadium. “It was fun to get to know everyone that you’ve never talked to and you’ve always thought that they were just the enemy,” Ryan said with a smile.
