Cuyahoga Falls Electrical Workers Injured Along State Road

Two Cuyahoga Falls Service Department electrical workers were injured early this afternoon on State Road in what may have been an explosion or fire.

City Service Director Valerie Wax Carr says that the workers were injured around 1:15 p.m along the northern part of State Road.

The extent of their injuries is unknown at this hour. Carr says both employees are doing okay.

"Both employees were consious, talking, and aware of what's going on," Carr said. "All of their families have been contacted at this point."

There are no further details available at this time and the accident is under investigation.

More details will come as soon as they become available.
