Akron Police are investigating the shooting death of a 29-year-old man on the city's east side Sunday afternoon.
Authorities say Angelo Jones, Jr. of Akron was shot following an altercation in the 1100 block of Tarson Terrace around 4:30 p.m.
Jones was taken to Akron City Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
An autopsy is scheduled for today.
The fatal shooting remains under investigation. No arrests have been made.
