UPDATED Severe Thunderstorm Watch For Much Of NE Ohio

UPDATE: The National Weather Service has cancelled the watch early for all of Ohio, including Summit, Portage and Stark counties.  Severe weather conditions diminished over Northeast Ohio.

UPDATE: The National Weather Service has cancelled the watch for Cuyahoga, Lake, Ashtabula and Geauga counties in Ohio.  It remains in effect for the remaining counties, including Summit, Stark and Portage...

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 8 PM Sunday, for most of the eastern half of Northeast Ohio.

The watch means conditions are favorable for potential severe storms through the early evening hours.  The watch includes most of the immediate Akron, Canton and Cleveland areas and extends east to the Ohio-Pennsylvania border.
