Brimfield Township Man Arrested For Alleged Meth-Making

Police have arrested a Brimfield Township man for allegedly manufacturing meth inside his home.

After a brief investigation, officers obtained a search warrant  at David Efferson's Sunnybrook Road home Wednesday.

Brimfield Police got an assist from the Ohio State Highway Patrol Special Response Team to help carry out the warrant.

Authorities recovered a substance believed to be methamphetamine, as well as tools used to make the drug.

The 48-year old Efferson was arrested and charged with various meth-related counts including drug manufacturing and tampering with evidence.

He will be transported to the Portage County Jail pending arraignment.
