The Summit County OVI Task Force made a few arrests in a sobriety checkpoint over the weekend.
279 vehicles passed through the checkpoint at 539 South Arlington Street. There were no problems with 90% of them, but 28 vehicles and drivers were investigated further.
Four people were arrested for OVI, seven for driving under suspension and one picked up on a felony probation violation.
Others got in trouble for resisting arrest, expired registration and driving on a temporary license.
The task force has already announced plans for another sobriety checkpoint this weekend. The location is undisclosed.
