Homes in Summit County have been selling better now then they have been in the past two years and the proof is in the numbers.
Ali Whitley, President of the Akron Area Board of Realtors says that "sales in March are up 4.6% from last year and April looks strong as well."
Whitley also told AkronNewsNow that the time is now for first time home buyers due to low interest rates but they "won't stay low forever."
If you're looking to sell a home, Whitley says "were seeing that new homes coming on the market right now, if they are priced right, they are ready to go and they are selling fast."
Pending transactions make sales in late spring and early summer look promising.
