UPDATE Police: Body Found In Akron Driveway

The man found dead in a Kenmore driveway is the latest murder victim in Akron.

The Medical Examiner's office say 17-year old Tyler Bryce Anderson, of Fawler Avenue, died from a gunshot wound to the head. Two teenagers found his body in their driveway Thursday afternoon on their return from school.

(Medical Examiner's Office) The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office and the Akron Police Department are investigating the homicide death of Tyler Bryce Anderson, a 17 year old male from Fawler Avenue in Akron.

On May 17, 2012, at approximately 3:00 pm, Mr. Anderson was discovered deceased in a driveway located at 2314 21st Street in Akron. Mr. Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:24 pm on May 17, 2012.

An autopsy has been performed and the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head.
The death has been ruled a Homicide.

Akron police detectives are investigating the death of a 17-year-old boy found in a Akron driveway Thursday afternoon.

Police say two teens found the victim in the 2300 block of 21st Street around 3 p.m. Authorities are investigating the cause of death.

The Summit County Medical Examiner's will conduct an autopsy today.

The victim's name is not being released by authorities, pending positive identification and notification of relatives.
