Teen Robbery Suspect Arrested In Green

The Summit County Sheriff's Office has arrested a teen allegedly involved in a robbery inside a home in Green Thursday afternoon.

The Sheriff’s Office received a call from two juveniles reporting they had been robbed and assaulted. The victim reported that two individuals were visiting them, and while in the victim’s basement, the juvenile suspect pulled a  handgun and demanded money. The suspect struck the victim with the handgun and a fight ensued. The victim was struck in the head several more times with the weapon. The gun was fired during the altercation, but no one was struck.  Both the suspect and the other visitor left the residence. The victim was treated and released by Green Fire Department.

The gun used in the robbery was recovered. The teen was charged with aggravated robbery and felonious assault.
