A 48-year old man is now hospitalized after reportedly losing consciousness and hitting a parked car at a home on Sackett Ave.

Cuyahoga Falls Patch reports the man lost control of his car at around 6:45 p.m. Thursday evening after allegedly losing consciousness.

Police say his foot came down on the gas and it caused him to accelerate into a parked car, heavily damaging two vehicles.

Upon impact, the parked car wrapped around a tree and slammed into Ken Boldt's Sackett Avenue home.

The crash's impact on the home caused minimal damage according to police.

Police reports indicate the driver, who is a diabetic, was taken to a nearby hospital for a head injury.

No word yet on the extent of the man's injuries.
