It's official - Trent Richardson will become a member of the Cleveland Browns.

The Browns traded up from the NFL Draft's first round number 4 spot to number 3 to take the University of Alabama running back, who ran for over 3,000 yards and 35 touchdowns with the Crimson Tide.

Last year, as Alabama's featured running back, Richardson ran for 1,679 yards and 21 touchdowns on 283 carries.

The original holder of the number three slot was the Minnesota Vikings.

With the 4th pick, the Vikings picked the man they wanted all along, USC offensive tackle Matt Kalil.

NFL.com reports that in addition to their number 4 first round pick, the Browns sent the Vikings their picks in the fourth, fifth and seventh rounds.
