Canton Minivan Crash Leaves 8-Year Old Dead

A crash between two minvans in Canton has left an 8-year-old child dead.

News Channel 5 reports the crash happened Tuesday morning  over on Arlington Avenue NE and Crown Plaza NW.

Police tell Channel 5 a Dodge Caravan was headed southbound on Arlington when it struck a Nissan Quest, which was headed westbound on Crown Plaza.

The child, who was in the passenger seat of the Dodge Caravan died from his injuires at Aultman Hospital later.

The crash remains under investigation.
