Burglar Locks Family Inside Home

Stow police are on the hunt for a man they say locked a family inside a laundry room before stealing their car.

Police found the family hiding in their home after they were notified of a burglary in progress in the 2300 block of Graham Road around 1:40 p.m.

The suspect was being chased by police after being caught breaking into a previous home.

After a chase with the suspect, residents at the corner of 2250 Graham Road found the suspect inside their home. He locked the family inside a laundry room and stole their car after telling them he was carrying a gun.

Local law enforcement have been informed on the description of the car and suspect.
