Canton Township firefighters battled a large fire Sunday morning.

News Channel 5 reports that the fire started around 7 a.m. at Cobra Roll-Off Service, a trash bin rental facility in the 2700 block of Waynesburg Drive SE.

Officials say the fire was put out around 11 a.m.

Local resident Ron Shaneyfelt Sr. told News Channel 5 that the fire sounded like "fireworks." He also says he found shell casings surrounding the outside of the building.
