Today is Labor Day, and a lot of things are closed, with some hours and times changed.

You can get to the mall today, though holiday hours may vary.

But you'll have to drive to do it, as Akron Metro transit is taking the holiday off.

If you normally put out your trash on Monday in Akron and other area cities, try Tuesday instead, with the schedule on a one day delay all week.

But you won't be able to complain to city hall in person - government offices and the post office are closed today as well.
