Akron Police Searching For Suspected Robber Akron Police Department

Akron Police are seeking your help in the search for a suspected bank robber.

Police say the Charter One Bank on South Broadway Street was targeted at gunpoint around 2:00 pm Wednesday afternoon.

The suspect  allegedly demanded money from the teller and took off with an unreported amount of cash and a dye pack.

Police are looking for a white male, 5'08", 170 lbs. He was wearing a black "Northface" jacket and black hat. He was last seen northbound on foot from the bank

Anyone with information is asked to contact Akron Police.
