Akron firefighters were called to a house fire at what appears to be a vacant home on Overlook Place early this morning.

Dispatchers got several calls at about 1 AM for a fully involved house fire off Hickory Street.

A nearby home that was occupied was evacuated.  But firefighters did not entire the home that was on fire - and attacked the fire from the outside.

No injuries were reported at the home, to any neighbors or to any firefighters.
