Convenience Store Targeted Twice In Three Days

An Akron convenience store was broken into overnight, the second time it has been targeted in three days.

Akron police arrested Steven Shanley, 29, of Akron for breaking and entering into the Convenient Food Mart on the 100 block on Massillon Road aroound 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

Police say he stole a case of beer and several packs of cigarettes after he broke out the front window.

An officer found Shanley climbing out of the window. He was also charged with resisting arrest.

On Saturday night, a suspect wearing a red mask robbed the same store around 8 p.m.
