Police in Stark County are investigating a shooting outside a Perry Township bar.

It happened at just before 2 AM Saturday at "Ronali's Bar The Rock" on Lincolnway East.

The Canton Repository reports that a call of shots fired brought Perry Township police to the bar - and on the way in, police saw a vehicle fleeing the scene.

They weren't able to stop it, but the vehicle's driver lost control and spun into a business parking lot on West Tuscarawas Street.

Police tell the Repository that they found a man with a gunshot wound inside the car, who was treated and released at Aultman Hospital.

Patrons of the bar were involved in the shooting, according to police, and a gun was also recovered.
